Senior / Principal Scientist Subunit Vaccine Design
The senior/principal scientist will be responsible for the design of novel protein vaccine leads with a focus on viral surface proteins of HIV, Influenza and RSV which are our main targets. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment and will be involved in the generation of novel protein designs displaying desirable conformations of the viral surface proteins. The candidate will not only be responsible for his / her own projects but is also required to act as a subject matter expert and assist with structural evaluation and structure-based design of future immunogens for the entire department. Therefore, prior experience with modelling and macromolecule crystallography is a must. All research projects are carried out in teams comprising members from all the departments of viral vaccines and therefore teamwork and flexibility are two very important characteristics that are required attributes.

PhD or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of Postdoc experience in a relevant discipline such as molecular modelling, Rosetta experience, biochemistry, crystallography or related fields.
Additionally, prior experience in the field of virology will be considered a plus.
