Imagine a thing you want most in this world. The goal is bright but getting there is a long road full of unpredictability. In this session, you’ll learn how to train your brain to perform under pressure! You will get to experience short brain exercises to help you stay focused in high-stress situations—whether it’s pitching to investors, tight deadlines, or making crucial project or lab decisions under uncertainty. Training your brain can help you to:
🏊‍♀️From Injury to Extreme Endurance: Lessons from the Channel
Four years ago, Winnifred suffered a severe concussion that left her struggling with the simplest daily tasks. After a year of detoriation and little help from the Dutch health care system, she decided things needed to change. She applied training principles from elite sports and neuroscience to retrain her brain.
These tools and methods helped Winnifred to become mentally and physically resillient, and to swim across some of the world’s most challenging waters, the most recent being from Spain to Morocco. Her next biggest challenge is swimming from England to France coming August. 37 kilometre through frigid waters in nothing but a bathing suit en swim cap.
The tools learned in this process are directly applicable to entrepreneurship and navigating your career: how to handle setbacks, build mental endurance, and push forward when the odds are against you. All while keeping a healthy brain and body!

Before I sustained my concussion in 2021, I was a BioTech enterpreneur at PLNT. Since my concussion recovery, I’ve already helped countless individuals strengthen their resilience. My coaching focuses on bouncing back from burn-out, long-covid or concussion, and focuses on the entrepreneurial storm of starting up a business. This session is your opportunity to learn battle-tested strategies that will help you stay strong, sharp, and successful in your (entrepreneurial) journey and in life. Learn train your brain like an athlete!
