TK Challenge Bio Science Parkrun 2025

Run for vitality — and for a good cause

On Thursday 12 June 2025, the fourth edition of the TK Challenge Bio Science Parkrun will take place. This accessible 5 km run brings together colleagues, researchers, and local residents in a celebration of health, connection, and community. The route winds through the heart of the Leiden Bio Science Park and ends with a celebratory drink and a cheque handover to the Willem-Alexander Children’s Hospital (WAKZ).

Running with purpose

The Bio Science Parkrun is part of the TK Challenge Foundation’s mission to promote vitality in the Leiden region. All proceeds from this year’s run go to the Willem-Alexander Children’s Hospital, which offers vital support to children facing serious illness, mental health challenges or difficult home environments. A specific fundraising goal within the hospital will be announced soon.
