National Freezer Challenge 2025

As you might have seen already on LinkedIn, the NFU working group Sustainable Laboratories together with Green Labs NL launched the National Freezer Challenge 2025 on Monday. This challenge is a new initiative to collectively clean up our freezers to lower the footprint of laboratories. The challenge is simple: clean up your freezers and record how many boxes/samples you threw out from -20, -70/-80 freezers and liquid nitrogen storage.
