Danish biotech start-up Fuse Vectors has launched its R&D operations in Leiden. From its new base at the Leiden Bio Science Park, the company is set to accelerate the development of innovative gene therapies
Fuse Vectors is pushing the boundaries of gene therapy through its novel cell-free AAV production platform. By eliminating the reliance on traditional cell-based systems, the company’s technology enables faster, scalable and more consistent production of viral vectors. With its Leiden site, Fuse Vectors is building a platform that supports projects ranging from early discovery to advanced clinical development.
Fuse Vectors chose to establish in this region because it offers an ideal ecosystem for continued growth. Having successfully passed the proof-of-concept stage, the company is now focused on applying its technology in drug development and production.
