We are now looking for an EHS (Environment,Health, Safety) trainee to join our Operation team in Avery Dennison RTV Netherland in Zoeterwoude. We offer a part-time position in which you will support EHS related tasks. Your responsibilities may include a variety of EHS matters, but the main focus in this position is supporting the Operations Team in implementing and monitoring the environmental, health & safety management system. The position is located in Zoeterwoude.

Ops Manager/EHS Regional Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the Site Operations Team to implement and monitor the health, safety & environmental management systems
    • Involved in organizing and conducting HSE-related activities, trainings and preventive programmes to create awareness among employees
    • Support in planning, coordinating and implementation of site safety, occupational health, environmental, fire prevention, emergency response and security management issues.
    • Undertake other HSE-related projects/activities as required
    • Familiarizing yourself with related areas, such as environmental and ergonomic issue
    • Collaborating with our operations team

    Profile

    • On-going university studies (you are at the minimum on your 2nd year) from a relevant technical field
    • Genuine interest for health, safety and environment matters
    • Good communication skills, including good presentation skills and the ability to create detailed documentation
    • Independent approach to work with a practical mindset
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
    • Good Dutch skills are considered an advantage

    Offer

    • 550 EUR gross per month
    • travel allowance
