The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmaceutical company's buildings, including offices, production facilities and cleanroom areas. This role requires adherence to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conditions to ensure a contamination-free environment. Cleaning Specialist (GMP)
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following activities:
- General cleaning; clean general building areas such as offices, meeting rooms, break rooms and common areas. Including sanitation of desks, kitchens, cleaning the floors and ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling activities
- Production facility; clean and sanitize the production facility and cleanroom areas. Cleaning of equipment and surfaces, following specific cleaning protocols for production areas to prevent contamination and ensure all cleaning materials and chemicals are stored properly. Take care of proper disposal of (chemical) waste materials.
- Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinate with the Facilities Department to reorder supplies and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Compliance and safety; follow all health and safety regulations, maintain cleaning logs and checklists as required by GMP standards, report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager, participate in regular training sessions on GMP and safety protocols.
- Support other facility management tasks when required
Profile
We are looking for a GMP cleaning specialist with the following profile
- Cleaning experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with high accuracy
- Knowledge of cleaning, storage and disposal of chemicals
This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting for extended periods therefore it is important for a candidate to be in a good physical condition, able to perform this manual labor.
