GBS Leiden has an exciting internship opportunity available for students with a scientific background and lively interest in business! It is a 6-month business development internship, with a preferred start date of early August. GBS is a contract research laboratory that provides bioanalytical services to pharmaceutical clients moving into clinical trials. We assist with mechanistic research, method development, validation and measurement of biomarkers during clinical trials using a quality system (GCLP). Our primary fields of expertise are Coagulation and immunobiology/inflammation. After a recent move we are looking to expand the team and ramp up the BD activities to fill out the new location.
As a business development intern you’ll be involved in:
- Assessing & improving product-market fit of offering
- Create marketing materials together with the team
- Be involved in lead generation and processing using an external BD team & CRM system
- Learn from an experienced entrepreneur
- Evaluating new opportunities in the field of fibrosis
Requirements:
- English language proficiency, Dutch is a plus
- Life sciences or comparable scientific background education
