Business Internship

Rapidemic is looking for a driven, independent, creative intern to assist with our business development activities. You will be working on strategic development of Rapidemic’s product pipeline and scalability. Through this, you will gain a thorough understanding of Rapidemic’s technology, the molecular diagnostic industry and its stakeholders, and you will explore and map novel targets and use-cases.

Location: Leiden Bioscience Park

Length: 5-9 months

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in the fascinating industry of point-of-care diagnostics, and become an expert in the field.
• Reach out to relevant stakeholders in the field to further refine the product and go-to-market strategy of the product (business development).
• Get acquainted with, and map out the regulatory requirements of the ISO and IVDR guidelines that the company will have to deal with (regulatory).
• Improve marketing and communications on LinkedIn, website, and conferences (marketing & communications).
• You participate in team meetings and contribute to the internal discussions.

Profile

• You are entrepreneurial and ambitious.
• You have a proactive attitude and can work independently.
• You are structured and have good communication.
• You have a strong interest or affinity with the field of diagnostics, infectious diseases, and public health.
• You have a background in a relevant life sciences field (molecular biology, biology, infectious diseases).
• You can speak multiple languages.
• You are outgoing and people-oriented.
