Founded in 2004, ISA Pharmaceuticals is a privately held company based in Leiden, the Netherlands. With a dedicated team of 25 professionals, ISA focuses on the development of immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer and persistent viral infections. ISA’s immunotherapy platform is based on its proprietary SLP® (synthetic long peptide) and AMPLIVANT® technologies. Various clinical trials up to completion of Phase II have demonstrated the safety, tolerability and clinical efficacy of SLP® immunotherapies. Recently, ISA has begun to develop personalized SLP® immunotherapies targeting neo-antigens. Because of our ongoing expansion we have job opening for a (Senior) Technician Chemistry
Your challenges are to participate in projects in the exciting field of cancer immunotherapy, to optimize in-house technologies and to discover and investigate new methods and techniques. In addition to project lab tasks, also general tasks like designing SOPs and protocols, implementation of new equipment, internal organization of the lab and related administrative tasks are part of the job.
You have a BSc- or MSc degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, you have hands-on experience with solution phase and solid phase organic chemistry, purification techniques and chemical analysis techniques. You are a flexible person with good communication skills who acts as a team player and is able to work accurately. Experience in working with Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis, HPLC, UPLC-MS and familiarity with quality systems are strong advantages.
