Product Manager at Pharming Group

Overall purpose of the job:

The Product Manager (PM) for Ruconest Marketing assists with key marketing strategies and tactics. Builds strong collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders, including Sales, Medical Affairs, and Patient Services and helps ensure that functional areas are strategically aligned with the overall therapeutic franchise strategy. The PM is responsible for executing and implementing marketing strategies. Liaises with sales and medical affairs and other key cross-functional stakeholders to understand and balance customer needs vs. strategic focus. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  •  Assist in key marketing activities including launch/brand plans, market research, all brand strategies and tactics, peer to peer initiatives, and patient initiatives
  • Support key business functions (e.g. speaker programs, advisory boards, conferences, etc.)
  • Monitor program effectiveness; share successes and best practices.
  • Identify brand insights and turn into actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the business
  • Build collaborative cross-functional relationships with key internal partners 
  • Manage brand budget to ensure maximum ROI for investments, and that annual budgets are not exceeded
  • Liaise with country managers and marketing development lead on promotional materials
  • Understand market landscape, and support internal competitive intelligence activities/war games etc.
  • Develop strong relationships with KOLs
  • Manage assigned agencies


  • BSc. Degree 
  • 1-2 years of Pharmaceutical Marketing experience preferred
  • Rare disease pharmaceutical experience and HAE experience is a plus, but not required
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail and a proven track record of results and follow-up
  • Experience managing multiple vendors within an allocated budget
  • Launch experience a plus


  • Highly collaborative, with strategic and tactical marketing skills required
  • A self-starter with strong business acumen who proactively and continuously analyzes the Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) market to identify actionable insights and adjust direction/focus as needed 
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Planning, process and results-oriented
  • Self-aware of strengths and areas of needed improvement
