After two successful previous editions, the 3rd edition of Leiden Drug Development Conference (LDDC) is set to take place on 19 September 2024. Organized by LUMC, Leiden University, Johnson & Johnson, and TNO, LDDC-3 promises to be a groundbreaking event. In an era of rapid technological advancement, artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming industries worldwide. At LDDC-3, we have decided to dedicate the entire conference to AI’s impact on drug development, manufacturing, and healthcare. Our program covers a wide spectrum, from advanced interaction modeling of 3D protein structures to extracting relevant insights from federated patient data. We will also address the ethical and practical implications of AI applications.

Program Highlights

During LDDC-3, we’ll explore critical questions:

1. How does AI impact drug discovery across different phases?

2. Will AI accelerate startup growth in the LSH field?

3. Can AI generate novel insights from global drug applications?

4. What are the potential threats of AI in healthcare?

5. Could proprietary AI become the new blockbuster?

Leading Scientists and Keynote Speakers

LDDC-3 brings together leading scientists from academia and industry. Our keynote speakers, Herman van Vlijmen and Stef van Grieken, will share their expertise on how AI accelerates drug research.
