After two successful previous editions, the 3rd edition of Leiden Drug Development Conference (LDDC) is set to take place on 19 September 2024. Organized by LUMC, Leiden University, Johnson & Johnson, and TNO, LDDC-3 promises to be a groundbreaking event. In an era of rapid technological advancement, artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming industries worldwide. At LDDC-3, we have decided to dedicate the entire conference to AI’s impact on drug development, manufacturing, and healthcare. Our program covers a wide spectrum, from advanced interaction modeling of 3D protein structures to extracting relevant insights from federated patient data. We will also address the ethical and practical implications of AI applications.
