Green Science Festival

Building on the momentum of international sustainability symposia, Green Labs NL, together with NWO, proudly presents the Green Science Festival on Thursday, 28 May 2026:  – a full-day event focused on advancing environmental sustainability in research. Science shows us clearly: the way we live and consume today is not sustainable. Challenges like resource scarcity, environmental pollution, and the climate crisis call on us to rethink not only how we travel and eat, but also how we do science.

At the Green Science Festival, you’ll explore inspiring ways to make research more environmentally sustainable. Whether you’re a researcher, educator, policy maker, or manufacturer, this event is for you. Connect with peers, spark new collaborations, and discover practical insights to accelerate the transition to greener research practices.  The full-day program will feature inspiring presentations, interactive break-out sessions, and opportunities to network.

Participation is free of charge and available both in-person and online. You can also host a satellite location to bring the festival experience to your community. Contact us if you are interested.
