‘Human Nature’ exhibition at LUMC

Starting Thursday, February 5, LUMC’s gallery presents ‘Human Nature,’ featuring photographs by Katrin Korfmann. The photographer approaches public spaces as biotopes, examining how people move within them.

The title ‘Human Nature’ refers to the human need to belong to groups and connect with natural environments. The exhibition includes photos from four series Korfmann created in recent years: Homo Ludens, Ensemble Assembled, Symbiocene, and Count for Nothing.

The exhibition runs February 5–May 25, 2026, in Galerie LUMC. Registration for tours and talks: kunstzaken@lumc.nl
