Life Sciences Café

October 20, 2022 from 16:00 to 19:00
Organized by: LBSP Foundation | Location: BioPartner 5, De Kas

Prevention is better!

Annually, at least one out of 5 companies in The Netherlands is exposed to a cyberattack. In the best case a virus scanner or firewall will provide sufficient protection, but often business processes are (partly or fully) disturbed. Unproductive hours, loss of data, and damage to the company's image may lead to significant costs for the organization. Initial research in the Leiden Bio Science Park show that they do not score above average. A special cybersecurity program for the Life Sciences and Health Sector may support your company to identify and reduce the risks involved.

This Life Sciences Café program will be about cyber security and resilience. We have invited two speakers: Barry Roelofs from Buck Consultants International and Marcel Spruit from The Hague University of Applied Sciences who will talk you through this interesting topic and discuss the possibilities for your organisation to get free advise.
