From September 2 to December 2, 2025, Bootcamp Outdoor is back at the University Sports Centre. This intensive full-body workout in the fresh air focuses on strength, cardio, and endurance, combining HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), functional exercises, and conditioning drills.
This event is exclusively for people who work in the Leiden Bio Science Park.
During each session, you’ll perform bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, and burpees, and make use of natural and free-weight equipment such as kettlebells, resistance bands, and medicine balls. Running, jumping, and explosive movements keep the workout challenging and dynamic.
Every session begins with a warm-up, followed by circuit training at various stations, and ends with a cool-down and stretching. Thanks to the variety of exercises and adjustable intensity, Bootcamp is suitable for both beginners and experienced participants.
Sessions take place every Tuesday from 17:30 to 18:30 during the autumn season. No registration is needed, just come along and join in. The meeting point is the USC Club Building, next to the sports fields at Goliuspad 19.
