PEPTALK | Incontinence and the Pelvic Floor: From “Oops” to “Aha!”

The language of this event is Dutch.

Have you ever had one of those “oops” moments you’d rather not talk about? It can happen to anyone at any age, yet it remains taboo.

In this PEP Talk, we break the silence as Professor Maxime Kummeling, urologist at LUMC, explains the function of the pelvic floor, why it sometimes doesn’t work as it should, and what you can do to improve or prevent problems. After all, how long will you keep putting up with those “oops” moments?

PEP Talks are short lunchtime lectures at LUMC. Each month, an LUMC researcher sheds light on an interesting and timely topic. Everyone is welcome to attend the talks. PEP stands for “patients and personnel,” as well as anyone else who is interested.
