The Human Capital Community fosters collaboration between industry and academia, aligning educational programs with industry needs and supporting professional development. We actively engage HR professionals, External experts, Educational institutes, Students & student organizations and International talent through focused sub-communities, each tailored to address specific challenges and opportunities.

HR professionals
The HR Professionals subcommunity is focused on building a strong HR network that positions the LBSP as an attractive employer. The goal is to improve collaboration between the various institutions and companies at the park, enhancing talent management and exchanging HR best practices.
External Experts
The External Experts subcommunity is a dedicated group of passionate professionals from various service providers committed to supporting the park’s growth through their expertise. Their mission includes enhancing global recruitment, education, and training initiatives, ensuring that companies at the park have better insight into the wide range of services offered.

International Talent
The International Talent subcommunity enhances the engagement of international knowledge workers with activities at the park. A key focus is raising the park’s international profile and creating a welcoming environment for internationals and their families. The group also facilitates the transition of international students into the workforce. By encouraging meaningful connections between international and local talent, they aim to create a vibrant, inclusive ecosystem.
Education
The Education subcommunity at the Leiden Bio Science Park, representing vocational, bachelor’s, and master’s education, is focused on developing a regional vision to strengthen the connection between education and the job market. Their goal is to adapt curricula to better align with industry needs, ensuring a smoother transition for graduates into the workforce. This subcommunity promotes collaboration between educational institutions and companies, making each other’s capabilities and offerings more visible.
