Business internship

Rapidemic is looking for a driven, independent, creative intern to assist with our business development activities. You will be working on strategic development of Rapidemic’s product pipeline and scalability. Through this, you will gain a thorough understanding of Rapidemic’s technology, the molecular diagnostic industry and its stakeholders, and you will explore and map novel targets and use-cases.

Location: Leiden Bioscience Park

Length: 5-9 months

Responsibilities

Immerse yourself in the fascinating industry of point-of-care diagnostics, and become an expert in the field.
Reach out to relevant stakeholders in the field to further refine the product and go-to-market strategy of the product (business development).
Get acquainted with, and map out the regulatory requirements of the ISO and IVDR guidelines that the company will have to deal with (regulatory).
Improve marketing and communications on LinkedIn, website, and conferences (marketing & communications).
You participate in team meetings and contribute to the internal discussions.

Profile

You are entrepreneurial and ambitious.
You have a proactive attitude and can work independently.
You are structured and have good communication.
You have a strong interest or affinity with the field of diagnostics, infectious diseases, and public health.
You have a background in a relevant life sciences field (molecular biology, biology, infectious diseases).
You can speak multiple languages.
You are outgoing and people-oriented.
