Two Leiden based start-ups in the spotlight

Two Leiden based start-ups were put in the spotlight at the Dutch Life Sciences Conference last week in Leiden.

MyLife Technologies

received a €300.000 investment from investment fund UNIIQ to further develop their 'patch technology'. This patch, holding porous microneedles, is an alternative for drug administration via microneedle or oral routes (tablets, capsules, etc.). The investment was announced by Henri Lenferink, mayor of the city of Leiden, during the Dutch Life Sciences conference.

is the Winner of the Venture Challenge Fall 2018.  This Leiden-based start-up helps pharmaceutical companies increase bioavailability of their drugs through an innovative formulation platform and received a price of €25.000 for further developing their technology.
