At BIO International Convention in Boston, biotech ambition turns into partnership and progress. This year, Leiden Bio Science Park joined the Dutch delegation at the Netherlands Pavilion, right alongside innovators, investors, and policymakers all working to shape the future of health.

Our Business Developer, Amoy Anderson, MHA, made every moment count, from breaking the ice at BIO Beginners Bash, to kickstarting things at the ‘hollandbio komt naar je toe tour – Boston Edition,’ to diving into breakout sessions on everything from AI trends and investment strategies to funding academic spin-outs and navigating the path to bring Cell/Gene Therapies to patients in Europe and the Middle East. She also got to hear from some of the most exciting emerging companies in the Regenerative Medicine and Cell & Gene Therapy space at the Start-up Stadium.

In between sessions, we connected with strategic partners from all over the world, building relationships and putting Leiden Bio Science Park on the radar for companies looking to grow in the European market.

One of the highlights? Attending the Termeer Institute reception, where we caught up with familiar faces from AVIGI Therapeutics, Leyden Labs, QurAlis, and other great companies, proving that Dutch biotech talent competes and thrives globally.

But that wasn’t the end of it, we visited LabCentral in Kendall Square, capped off BIO with a competitive game of bowling, and celebrated a big milestone: the signing ceremony in Boston for one of our own, biotactical.

Leiden Bio Science Park exists to help life sciences companies do exactly that: grow from breakthrough ideas to international impact. With a strong network of startups, scale-ups, research institutions, and global leaders, we give ambition the environment and support it needs, strengthening the Netherlands as a trusted hub for biotech and health innovation.

Thank you to hollandbio, Health~Holland, and all our partners for showing the world what the Dutch ecosystem has to offer.
