Life Sciences Café reopened its doors after the summer break, bringing fresh energy and new ideas to the community. At Grand Café De Stal, participants reconnected, met new faces, and shared updates from across the park in an atmosphere full of lively conversations and forward-looking discussions on the future of biotech innovation.
The program featured presentations from three speakers. Jolke Beijnvoort of Vindi Biosystems introduced a wearable device for continuous biomarker monitoring, designed to enable early detection, timely intervention, and personalized healthcare. Florian Schimmel of OPAL showcased lighting solutions that promote mental health and well-being by creating balanced, nature-inspired environments. Finally, Rafael Jezior from ImmunoWars demonstrated how custom games can make science engaging and accessible through gamification.
