New team member of the Leiden Bio Science Park Foundation

Thijs Remijn joins LBSP as Project Leader for the Human Capital Agenda, starting August 21st. With a background in Immunology and recruitment experience at LBSP, he will help address talent challenges and foster collaboration between business, education, and government.

The LBSP Foundation hereby informs you of the arrival of the Project Leader Human Capital Agenda LBSP, also quartermaster partial agreement Human Capital LBSP. We are very pleased that Thijs Remijn will be joining the team as of August 21st.

Thijs closely follows the developments at the Leiden Bio Science Park (LBSP) from his current position as Strategic Account Executive at Oxford Global Resources, an international recruitment & consulting organisation focused on scientific and laboratory personnel. He has a background in Immunology (Radboud University Nijmegen). He was responsible for clients in the South Holland region for 5 years, mainly at the LBSP, and has built up a relevant network in the sector at both operational and management level. He has a great affinity with the LBSP and the sector from both his scientific and professional interests.

He sees it as a beautiful and important challenge to be able to play a key role in tackling the challenges as formulated in the report ‘No Growth Without Talent’, and to further shape the cooperation between business, education and government in this area. Given his direct experience with (the scarcity of) talent in the region, combined with his professional network, knowledge of the labor market/labor law and his personality, Thijs is ‘the right man for the job’ for us. We wish him much success and a warm welcome to the LBSP community.
