Exactly one year after the first edition, the second national Skills Heroes Powered By final competition for Laboratory Technicians took place on 4th February 2026. Fifteen students from Intermediate Vocational Laboratory Education (MLO) competed at mboRijnland in Leiden for a place in the top three.
The winners:
- Sanne Koppenol from Techniek College Rotterdam
- Hein van de Wetering from Koning Willem I College
- Mark Winter from Noorderpoort
They will find out on Friday 20th March, during Skills The Finals at the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch, who will receive gold, silver, and bronze.
