Van Leeuwenhoek Awards – Award ceremony |Dutch Bio Science Week

Most scientific images sit in papers, buried behind paywalls and technical language, visible only to those already inside the field. The Van Leeuwenhoek Awards wants to change that by bringing the best of microscopy research from Leiden Bio Science Park into view, for anyone willing to look.

What can you expect?
On 1 July, the Van Leeuwenhoek Awards ceremony takes place. This will be an evening dedicated to making the invisible visible. Entries ranging from classical light and electron microscopy to advanced data-driven renderings will be on display.

The evening is open to everyone, not just researchers or life sciences professionals. Whether you are curious about science, want to see just how far a microscope can zoom in, or simply want to support someone whose work is on display, you are welcome to join.
