Celebrate four years CIV Bio Sciences

Four years of CIV Bio Sciences

On October 29, we close the CIV project together. What did the journey deliver? Four years on, how close are we to our ambition of training as many future-proof, motivated bio sciences professionals as possible? And is the work done? Let’s talk about it.

Collaborating, renewing, looking ahead

The centrepiece of the afternoon is a panel discussion on what four years of working together has meant, seen from both education and industry. To set the scene, we start with a guest speaker. Adri Pijnenburg is an education trend strategist and a committed connector of vocational education, the labour market and innovation. He will guide us through the four lines of the CIV: education, research, lifelong learning and ecosystems.

Drawing on examples from the Netherlands and abroad, Adri shows how strong regional ecosystems speed up talent development and educational renewal. He also shares the latest insights and trends from his international study visits to Estonia, Flanders and the World Expos in Dubai and Japan.
