About the company

 Leven Vision BV is a Leiden-based startup developing an AI platform to automate microscopy diagnostics in medical microbiology. We seek a highly motivated and experienced (senior) Business Developer to help drive our growth and strategic plans.

Job description:

As a (senior) Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in launching our AI diagnostics platform, identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships with labs, and driving revenue growth.

You will be responsible for developing and executing our growth strategy, negotiating deals, and fostering partnerships with medical microbiology laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parasitology laboratories.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead negotiations and close deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies.
• Represent Leven Vision at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or other commercial roles.
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new opportunities.
• Experience working in medical or veterinary diagnostics is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment.
