About the role:

 You’ll be primarily involved in all aspects of mammalian cell culture, culture initiation, maintaining aseptic technique, propagation, adaptation to 3D/suspension culture, differentiation of cells into fat and muscle and cryopreservation of cells. Your responsibilities will include preparation of cell culture media and reagents, maintenance of laboratory stocks and aliquots, general maintenance of both 2D and 3D/suspension cell cultures, and cell culture characterization using cell and molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, immunofluorescence assays, flow cytometry, spent media analysis, growth rate calculations, use of molecular techniques such molecular cloning, electrophoresis is a big plus.

Qualification:

• HBO or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry or related area;1-3 years of laboratory experience in a biotech environment is a plus
• Experience with mammalian in vitro culture in an aseptic environment both in 2D and 3D/suspension systems.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques, such molecular cloning;Experience with performing the necessary calculations for/and the preparation of complex media formulations;Knowledge of mammalian cell cultures methods using bioreactor systems is a plus;
