The latest Life Sciences Café at Leiden Bio Science Park highlighted AI in mental health, animal-free dairy innovation, and early liver disease detection. Co-hosted with hollandbio, the event showcased pioneering startups and celebrated the strength of the local life sciences community.


The special edition of Life Sciences Café at Grand Café de Stal brought a unique blend of ideas and vibrant community spirit to Leiden Bio Science Park. Co-hosted with hollandbio, this edition featured three inspiring pitches from startups tackling some of today’s most pressing challenges, from mental health to sustainable food and early disease detection.

Dmitry Pavlotsky from GameAnalyze B.V. introduced AI-powered games designed to make mental health screening for children more accessible and engaging.

Stephan van Sint Fiet of Vivici shared his vision for sustainable, animal-free dairy proteins produced through precision fermentation.

Katarina Madunić from GlycoDiagnostics presented their innovative, non-invasive test for early detection of liver fibrosis.
