The special TechTalk: Quantum, organized by 4MedBox and BioPartner Leiden, brought scientists, entrepreneurs, students, and decision-makers together to explore how quantum technologies are making their way into life sciences and health.
Six speakers from Leiden Bio Science Park and beyond shared insights on topics ranging from quantum stacks and cooling systems to chips, showing how these innovations are already being used to tackle complex scientific questions. After the talks, participants visited the new House of Quantum Leiden facilities at BioPartner 4 and continued the conversation during a networking session.
A big thank you to the speakers for their expertise and vision: Patrick O’Brien (Leiden Cryogenics), Elkin Leandro Escobar Chaves (QT Sense), Deepak H. Veeregowda, Ph.D. (QT Sense), Limor BH Epstein (SHE-RAM Tech Ventures), Daan B. (QuantaMap), Rick Overkleeft (Primo Medda), and Willemijn Uilhoorn (Qblox).
For us, it was inspiring to see the dialogue between quantum and life sciences take shape. Once again, Leiden proved to be a place where collaboration sparks new possibilities.
