You might remember the lights coming out of the Leiden Bio Science Park last year (2025). A community making rare diseases visible.

This year, we are back.

• Thursday 26 February (16:00 – 20:00)
• Plus Ultra, Leiden BioScience Park
• Two days before Rare Disease Day

On 26 February, we come together at Plus Ultra for Light Up for Rare, centered around the power of connection: bringing together patient organisations, policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers and partners to strengthen visibility, collaboration and momentum for rare conditions.

This initiative complements the VSOP event on 28 February, many of us will actively contribute to both.
