GenScript: From Target to Candidate

Antibody discovery teams are being asked to deliver stronger candidates faster. The pressure is familiar. Increase throughput, improve biological relevance, control downstream risk and make earlier decisions with incomplete information.

From Target to Candidate brings together scientific leaders from pharma, biotech and academia to examine where antibody discovery workflows lose time and confidence, and which practical changes can make those workflows more effective.

The afternoon combines three expert talks, a moderated panel, audience discussion and networking. The focus is scientific and operational: what helps teams make better candidate decisions, and what simply creates more activity?

What will be discussed

  • Faster movement from target to candidate through efficient gene-to-antibody, expression, screening and automation workflows.
  • More predictive cell models and functional systems that improve the biological relevance of discovery data.
  • Earlier use of expression, developability, characterization, critical reagents, bioanalytics and biomarkers to support stronger candidate decisions.
  • The handoffs between scientific functions where time, context and decision quality are often lost.
