Volunteers and community support welcome
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, the Leiden Toetertoer will once again take place in the Leiden region. The Toetertoer is a parade where people with disabilities ride in trucks, tractors, fire engines, and other vehicles, honk the horns and have lots of fun. There are miles of smiles! The route starts at 10:00 at FloraHolland in Rijnsburg and returns around 12:00.
The event is organised by Lions Club Leiden Lugdunum Dualis, in cooperation with VTV Leiden, and is supported by many drivers, volunteers and local partners. Together, they create a special and unforgettable day for the participants.
The Toetertoer is all about joy, inclusion and connection within the Leiden community. We would be very grateful if people from the Leiden Bio Science Park community would like to get involved, for example by helping as volunteers, spreading the word, or contributing in another way.
