Pesthuis
The Pesthuis was built in the 17th century as a hospital for plague patients, at a time when cities were looking for ways to isolate infectious diseases. Its impressive square layout and inner courtyard still reflect that original purpose. For many years, the Pesthuis was part of Naturalis Biodiversity Center. In recent years, it has served as a pop-up event space while exciting new plans were developed behind the scences.
During this Life Sciences Café, Pesthuis owner Maurits Aberson wil take you on an exlcusive tour of this remarkable historic building and share the lastest plans for its future.A unique opportunity to step inside and get a first look at what lies ahead.
Join us at 16:00 for this special tour, register via the registration form.
