The fourth edition of the EMBO Workshop “Pathogen Immunity and Signalling” will take place at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, The Netherlands, from 8–11 June 2026. This workshop will bring together a multidisciplinary community of scientists studying all aspects of host–pathogen interactions to discuss the latest advances in pathogen immunity and how this knowledge can be translated into therapeutic applications. In addition, the meeting will highlight protective immune mechanisms that, when dysregulated, contribute to disease.
The 2026 program will feature keynote lectures by Judi Allen and Mihai Netea, alongside 23 invited talks, multiple short and flash talks selected from submitted abstracts, and three poster sessions. The workshop will also offer numerous opportunities for networking between early-career researchers, established experts, and journal editors, and will conclude with a banquet dinner.
