What can you expect?
During Dutch Bio Science Week, pick up the Science Route (worth €6.95) for free at VVV Leiden, Stationsweg 26.
Follow the route through the city center and Leiden Bio Science Park to learn about the groundbreaking research and leading discoveries that have taken place in Leiden over 450 years.
The route consists of two parts: a journey through the historic city center and a tour of the Leiden Bio Science Park, the largest life sciences cluster in the Netherlands. From the establishment of Holland’s first university in 1575 to its recognition as a European City of Science, Leiden has long held an international reputation as a center of knowledge and innovation.
