Theme: Collaborations at the Leiden Bio Science Park

On Tuesday 23 May, from 16.00H onwards, the meeting of the Human Capital community will take place with the theme: collaborating within the Leiden Bio Science Park.

Collaborating within the Leiden Bio Science Park is mentioned in the recently published Human Capital Agenda (HCA) LBSP as one of the action lines.

During this meeting we will cover various topics such as: retaining current talent at LBSP, recruit and retain talent from other regions and sectors including the region's untapped labour potential and collaborate to promote LBSP as a park and ecosystem for national talent.

It will be an interactive and energetic event with a panel discussion where we will talk about the topics in a dynamic and interactive way, based on several propositions and questions.

Attracting, developing and retaining top young IT talent have become an increased challenge. To solve this problem, parties with same interest on the LBSP absolutely need to work together. Its largest institutions Naturalis, LUMC, Municipality of Leiden, Hogeschool Leiden and Leiden University therefore decided to join forces. To start with, they are setting up a strong IT Trainee pool on the LBSP where trainees will (partly) be trained for selected career tracks within and throughout all participating partners during their traineeship. A broad platform to improve knowledge sharing and collaborations in the field of IT on LBSP. It’s biggest opportunity; they are open for other partners to join.
